Trinity is excited to announce the addition of a Production Manager to our team. Rob Patti comes to us with over a decade of experience managing digital projects and an impressive understanding of technology and project management consulting. Welcome, Rob!

Q. How did you get into the tech field…

I studied graphic communications at Cal Poly and when I finished with my degree, I started designing and building websites. As my career evolved, I have moved into managerial roles, overseeing large projects and creating design standards and implementing best practices. Mainly, my work is around creating the best user experience.

Q. Why Trinity?

My passion is bridging the gap between design and technology. Trinity offers me a terrific opportunity to do that every day. They are a smaller company so there is more opportunity to provide ideas and insights and make a meaningful impact. Also, there’s the racquetball.

Q. Racquetball?

Yes, racquetball. A bunch of us have been playing. John is schooling us right now.

Q. You recently moved to Reno from California. What do you like about the area?

I’m a snowboarder, so that would have to be on the top of the list. My favorites are Sugar Bowl, Squaw, and Mt. Rose, the last of which is under a hour from the Trinity offices to the lift.

Q. What else do you like to do outside of work?

I’m also a hiker – so this is also a great place for that. Also, I’ve been picking up some of the classic books lately. I finished The Great Gatsby recently. Then I saw the movie – I wasn’t crazy about that – too modernized. Especially the soundtrack.

Q. Do you have a nickname?

My nickname at a previous job was “Angry Rob”. I guess when I am working and concentrating, I make an angry face. I’m working on it.

Q. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Power Replication – the power to copy the powers of others. Knowledge Replication would be nice too.

Q. This wouldn’t be a complete interview if I failed to ask – What is your favorite ice cream?

Cookies ‘n’ Cream. Can’t beat it.
